Visit Autostadt Wolfsburg

This week I had the opportunity to visit Autostadt in Wolfsburg. The visit was part of an organised trip with me as a tour guide. As for many people in the group as well as for me, the visit to Autostadt and the Volkswagen factory was supposed to be the highlight of the trip. Unfortunately it turned out to be quite disappointing. The ‘Zeithaus’ museum only displayed one Oval Beetle (the golden million one). Almost all other historic milestones were not on display. During the factory tour we only saw a minor part of the factory: sheet metal processing, no paint facility or assembly lines! Too bad Autostadt turned out to be an illusion this way!
