’69 Karmann Ghia

Our 1969 Ghia is owned by Ronald since March 1999. The car dates from 1969 and was imported from the sunny side of the USA, California. The picture on the right shows how she looked when we bought her. The car was restored in the next three years and painted in Cherry Red VWL554 (an original Karmann Ghia colour from 1969). In the years afterwards, the car was modified to Ronald’s liking including 15 inch Porsche 914 2 litres Alloys (Baby Fuchs) and many, many details, especially in the interior. Our experience in lowering this car was used to write the Lowering or Slamming Tech Tip.
